Words from last year.

Good morning all. I’d like to take a few moments to appreciate the event. A big shout-out to everyone involved in making it even more successful than last year.

There were noticeable improvements in guest invitations, decorations, and all the dance performances.

Kudos to all the kids!! they were absolutely amazing. I made sure to arrive on time so I wouldn’t miss the little bees’ performances. I was smiling throughout the event, which literally left my cheeks aching in the sweetest way.

I truly appreciate the effort you all put in to make this such an enjoyable event and a wonderful memory to start the year. The adult girls danced like true professionals. This time there was strong girl power on stage. Not to miss the gents performances as well, they were equally impressive.

Looking forward to many more Sankranthi events! Well Done Gang!

I too was thinking to pen this since yesterday.

It was an absolute delight to be part of this event. It was such a great effort to bring families together to celebrate in a meaningful and memorable way. The kids performances are incredible. My heart filled with delight watching them perform. Every song choice truly reflected the occasion and shows how carefully curated. Every one was so welcoming. The whole event was wonderful- anchoring, decor, food, culturals, especially ramp walk by all ladies making everyone feel inclusive. Boys dance was the talk of the town. Ladies dance, of course they did it splendidly. Kudos to all.

Looking forward for many more events. Well done organisers.

Thank you so much for inviting me as the Chief Guest for the Brooklands Neighbourhood Sankranthi celebrations. I was truly delighted to be part of such a vibrant and well-organised event.

I was especially pleased to see the women’s team stepping forward to lead and organise these celebrations, a wonderful way to promote and preserve our culture. The active engagement and lively performances by both adults and children were a joy to watch, and it was heartening to see such a great platform created for children to showcase their talents with confidence.

The décor was absolutely beautiful. The village hut setup and artefacts representing traditional village life were deeply nostalgic and brought back many cherished memories. The delicious lunch was the perfect finishing touch and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

I am very grateful for the warm welcome, kindness, and hospitality shown by the entire team. Thank you also for the thoughtful gifts, the flowers, saree, and traditional pancha which were received with gratitude and humility.

Once again, thank you Brooklands neighbourhood Telugu women for a memorable and meaningful celebration. Wishing the team continued success in all future initiatives.
